PROFESSIONALS wanting to add Grief Recovery to
their toolbox
ANYONE wanting to help others (or themselves) heal grief
Grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss. Everyone must deal with
grief at various times in their life. It may be grief over the loss of a
loved one, a relationship or a pet. It may be grief over the loss of job,
home, health, financial status or loss of trust. There are over 40 loss
experiences including 5 hidden losses that are often overlooked. Anyone
experiencing grief wants to feel better. This workshop is designed to give
you the tools and techniques to help others (or yourself) recover, heal, and
move forward.
You will learn:
- The definition and common symptoms of grief Typical approaches to
grief recovery
- Identifying underlying issues Healing painful emotions
- The difference between closure and completion Personalizing the
healing process
- 2 of the most helpful things to say a griever 4 steps to help
someone grieving a death
- 6 things you should never say 3 things to remember when helping
someone
- Action steps to recovery for all grievers Hypnotic techniques to
accelerate healing
BILL MOYER, President/CEO of Life Matters Hypnotherapy
& Life Coaching, LLC and Alamo Hypnosis Center, is as a Hypnotherapist
certified with the IMDHA and a certified Grief Recovery Specialist (Grief
Recovery Institute). He is also an LVN and has provided care in settings
ranging from oncology, pediatrics, cardiology, intensive care, pediatric
intensive care and emergency departments. For over twenty years he was
Administrator/Business Manager for physician practices and has provided
consultation and education and training programs in a variety of health
service provider settings.
